Summer VPK and Summer Bridge registration are now open! Summer VPK is designed for children entering kindergarten this fall who did not participate in a VPK program during the school year. Summer VPK will be held June 9th-July 22nd and will be offered at John Love Early Learning Center. Prior to enrollment, you will need a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Early Learning Coalition. Visit ELC DUVAL to apply. To begin the enrollment process: Complete the application. Click here for the application. Once submitted, call 904-630-6790 to schedule an appointment to bring the required documents listed below. Required Documents for Summer VPK Registration: Certificate of Eligibility for Summer VPK (300-hour certificate) Proof of age (e.g., birth certificate) Two proofs of address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement) Proof of Florida immunizations (Form DH 680) Proof of Florida physical exam (completed within one year) Summer Bridge is available for students who attended a VPK program during the school year and scored at or below the 10th percentile on the VPK FAST Progress Monitoring Three assessment. Summer Bridge will be held June 9th-July 15th and will be offered at four Duval County Public Schools sites: Andrew Robinson Elementary, Arlington Elementary, John Love Early Learning Center, and Normandy Village Elementary. To enroll, parents must submit the parent letter provided by their VPK provider as confirmation of eligibility. Click here for the application.
