Early College & Dual Enrollment
The Opportunity
Riverside is the home of Duval County's first Early College, college level coursework on campus partnership with FSCJ cross-curricular, performance-based learning.
Graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree. Students save significant time and tuition while building genuine college readiness.
Early College Program
Challenging, fast-paced curriculum focused on cross-curricular learning and performance assessment. Students may complete both a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree, positioning them to finish a bachelor's degree ahead of traditional peers.
Requirements: Algebra 1 credit expected by end of 8th grade. Additional math and science coursework is required beyond standard graduation requirements.
Dual Enrollment
Qualified juniors and seniors may enroll in college courses through Florida State College at Jacksonville, Edward Waters University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earning simultaneous high school and college credit. This acceleration pathway is available under the broader dual enrollment framework.
