5th Grade End-of-Year Activities

Good Morning,

First, please know that all students and staff are SAFE. Our campus was placed on lockdown out of an abundance of caution because there were reports of gun fire in close proximity. Law enforcement responded and has determined everything is safe. The lockdown has been cleared and students can return. Bus 502 will be picking up for Bus 439 if the student missed pick up. Thank you for your patience and support.

Good Afternoon Panther Family,
Bus 902 is delayed because of technical difficulty. We currently don't have an ETA for departure from the school at this time. You are welcome to pick our student up from the main office if you'd like. We will update you once the bus is departing the school. Thank you

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach our upcoming testing season, I want to take a moment to emphasize how important it is for every student to be present at school and on time each day.

Attendance plays a critical role in your child’s academic success. Each day of instruction builds upon the last, and when students are absent or arrive late, they miss valuable learning experiences that are difficult to fully recover. This becomes even more important as we prepare for state and district assessments, where consistency and confidence are key.

Being present for the entire school day ensures that students receive complete instruction, participate in review activities, and benefit from targeted support provided by their teachers. Late arrivals and early dismissals can disrupt not only your child’s learning, but also the overall classroom environment.

Here’s how you can help support your child during this important time:
• Ensure your child arrives at school on time each morning
• Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible
• Encourage a consistent bedtime routine to help your child stay rested and ready to learn
• Reinforce the importance of doing their best and staying focused
We are committed to providing every student with the tools and support they need to succeed, but we need your partnership to make it happen. Together, we can help our students feel prepared, confident, and ready to perform at their very best.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to your child’s education.

Sincerely,

Rashard A. Willis, Principal
Samuel A. Hull Elementary
