Greetings Saints This is Dr. Hatcher principal of Sandalwood High School with a semester update. Now that we are back from Thanksgiving break, I wanted to give you an update as we wind down our next three weeks before winter break. Now is a good time if you have not reviewed your child’s FOCUS account to see how many absences are listed and the current grades in each class. They will have three weeks to make improvements which I know they can do. ------------------------------------------------ Safety & Security: Please review the message I sent out today regarding eliminating one student entrance in the morning to improve our safety and security protocol. Reminder, students must have an ID to enter class. Each day they do not have an ID means they must get a new one at Seven Dollars and fifty cents. No solid bookbags will be allowed on campus during the day. These safety efforts are for everyone’s well-being. ----------------------------------------------- Saturday, December 21st from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Sandalwood is hosting our first Pickleball fundraiser. Please feel free to donate or sponsor this great event to raise additional funds for our tutoring and academic boot camps for recovery. Sandalwood Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser Saturday, December 21st from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Location: Sandalwood High School Tennis Complex 2750 John Prom Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246 Sign Up Here Open to all Men or Women of all skill levels. 2 - Person Teams only. If you do not have a partner, you will be placed with someone by tournament time. We will have 2 Divisions: Seniors = 50+ and 49 - Prizes for winners. Make a $50 donation for each player to Sandalwood High School. After payment has been verified you will receive a separate email to complete your Pickleball application. Cost: $50 per person
