Dear Panda Families,
We want to take a moment to thank you for being valued partners in advancing student success. We are reaching out to remind you to consider becoming a Classroom Champion in our 3rd to 5th grade classrooms. We are looking for 10 additional volunteers to lend a helping hand for just 90 minutes a month.
As a Classroom Champion, you will support our dedicated teachers by assisting with tasks such as decorating bulletin boards, organizing student materials, and other classroom activities. Your involvement will make a positive impact on our classrooms and help create a vibrant learning environment for our students.
If you’re interested in joining us, please email Principal Gomez at esparzaj@duvalschools.org by Friday, October 4, 2024.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping to make our 3rd to 5th grade classrooms shine!

Panda families, please spread the word. We are inviting all positive male role models to join us on Friday, August 16th to celebrate students on the completion of their first full week of school. 🐼❤🌟 Together, we rise.
Research shows that, "children who have fathers or male father figures involved in their education are more likely to: get better grades; have better verbal and problem
solving skills; do better on achievement tests; demonstrate a higher tolerance for stress and frustration; are more likely to have positive peer relationships (Allen & Daly, 2007); are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities; and, have fewer discipline problems (U.S. Department of Education, 2012).

Our very own Beauty & the Beast, Jr. cast got VIP Backstage passes to meet the cast at Wolfson High School for their Beauty & the Beast production. It was such an awesome experience for our students! Thank you to the Wolfson HS cast for making the experience truly memorable. 🐼❤#TodayatSJE @duvalcountyschools Duval County Public Schools @wolfsonhighschool
