I am excited to be the new principal of Southside Middle School! This is my 9th year as a principal. I have served students in grades Pre-K-8th throughout my career. In collaboration with the teachers, staff, and community members our goal at Southside Middle School is to cultivate a safe school environment focused on building and exceeding grade level academic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. I have a sincere desire to build a strong community where students are nurtured and encouraged to grow academically and socially through guidance, creativity, and meaningful challenges.
I provide families with newsletters that include important information and school updates throughout the school year. I encourage you to use our newsletters to stay engaged with our school family. When our students see their parents involved in the school, they are motivated and accomplish amazing things!
