Good Afternoon Panther Families,
This is Principal Dunbar with our weekly updates. We are counting down the hours until we open the 2024-2025 school year. Gates will open for car riders and walkers every morning at 8am. Kg and 1 graders will report to our Media Center and 2nd-5th grades will report to the cafeteria. If you were unable to meet your child's teacher at Orientation, mark your calendars for September 5th for our Annual Open House from 6 until 7pm.
Parents I ask that you please be patient this first week of school for dismissal. Although we have systems in place, the first week typically runs a little longer due to meeting new students and becoming familiar with families. I ask the same patience with our school buses. Arrival times of buses tend to run late for the same reason. I thank you in advance for patience.
Please also note new school board policies regarding all cellular devices. All students must keep cellular devices turned off and stored away in their bookbags during school hours. Devices may not be kept in students hands nor pockets and teachers have the right to collect devices at the start of the day and keep until dismissal. This also includes on school buses. The only time a child may have his/her device out is with teacher authorization that connects to learning.
