Congratulations to the Girls Weightlifting team for another great win against Westside. Our seniors had a fantastic performance on their great night and almost the entire team placed either 1st or 2nd in both Olympic and Traditional. Great to be part of the PACK!!!
This week, each JROTC companies participated in the Drill and Ceremony competition. Companies were graded on their ability to conduct precision drill movements and to execute the marching routine outlined by the U.S. Army. The company coming out on top and winning the first place recognition was....Headquarters Company, commanded by Second Lieutenant Leila Culic and Staff Sergeant Jerald Wright. Congratulations to the cadets of Headquarters Company for a job well done, and for winning the competition for this school year!!!
Have you ever wanted to be in a high school musical? Well, now's your chance! The drama department is looking for actors, singers, dancers, and skateboarders (yes skateboarders!) to participate in our spring musical "The SpongeBob Musical!" There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, December 17th in room 58. The meeting will be approximately 40 minutes and is open to all. Be sure you have a ride home.
Next week is BASKETBALL BONANZA!! Show your support for our Basketball teams by participating in fun events all week. Monday is ugly holiday sweater, Tuesday is anything but a backpack day, Wednesday is Dodgeball day, Thursday is rock, paper, scissor day and a Pep Rally and Friday is pajama day.
On Monday, December 16th, The Drama Club will present a free performance called “The End of Ever After.” The show was written and directed by a student and the cast of 35 have been practicing for a month. The performance will begin seating at 3:00 and the performance, which includes and opening number by Dance Team, will begin soon after that and runs about an hour. Come out and support your fellow student performers.
Seniors your 3rd package payment of $100.00 dollars is due no later than Monday, December 16th at 2:00pm. There will be no extensions.
