Teaching Students to Aim Higher

Academic success. High standards of personal conduct. Integrity, confidence, and compassion. Working hard and playing hard. These are just some of the qualities Jean Ribault Middle School instills in our students during these critical middle school years. While some see middle school simply as a transition between elementary and high school, we envision more. We expect our students to aim higher, discover new passions, learn to be self-reliant, and prepare to achieve their dreams.

What Makes Us Unique

Students and families have access to an array of services, including parenting classes and on-site counselors. All of our children enjoy increased attention thanks to exceptional education teachers who supervise and assist in our classrooms. Our relationships with neighboring Arlington Middle and Terry Parker High School make the transition to these schools seamless for our families, and give us an educational community that is really something special.

A School Culture Marked by Excellence

Ribault Middle School students benefit from the attention and care of dedicated, passionate teachers who advocate on their behalf and offer steadfast support when academic challenges arise. Our students love choosing from a long list of extracurricular activities including the Robotics Club, Math Club, Scholar Bowl, exceptional band and music programs and more. They develop teamwork skills and good sportsmanship through our Ribault Middle School Colts Athletics Program featuring basketball, football, baseball, soccer and cheerleading.

A Whole Child Focus

For parents, seeing is believing. Parents love our focus on the whole child as we offer a safe, nurturing environment for students to grow and explore. They love that, as a magnet school, we offer Early High School Program. This accelerated program offers students the opportunity to obtain high school and college credits, a valuable head start on future success. Ribault Middle parents also appreciate our convenient campus location with Sallye B. Mathis Elementary and Jean Ribault High right next door.
