We're more than just an elementary school. S.P. Livingston Elementary is an accelerated learning center where students are on the fast track to reaching new heights academically, socially, and emotionally.
At S.P. Livingston, we believe strong literacy skills are a cornerstone of education. We work with the University of Florida Literacy Institute models to help students develop optimal reading skills that will serve them throughout their entire academic journey and careers. In addition to academic excellence, our school emphasizes character development, instilling in students the importance of good behavior, respect, and responsibility.
While we’re known for accelerated learning, S.P. Livingston is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all students. The school offers resource classes for students with special needs, allowing them to receive individualized support while learning alongside their peers. We use the respected Multi-Tiered System of Support process to ensure that all students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support they need to succeed here and in the future.
A World of Fun and Learning
Beyond our strong academic program, S.P. Livingston offers a variety of engaging and fun learning experiences. Students can showcase their talents during the morning news broadcasts and earn rewards for following school rules and good attendance. The school also celebrates student achievements through weekly "Fair Friday" treat carts and monthly "Student Cougar of the Month" awards.
