Wolfson School for Advanced Studies is a college preparatory magnet school featuring AP & IB programs. Ranked at the state and national level as one of the top academic high schools, Wolfson boasts a wide array of student groups and competitive athletic programs that includes State Championships and D1 athletic commitments. From National Merit Scholars to Ivy League acceptances, Wolfson is home to a culture of skilled & dedicated students whom we are proud to call part of our PACK.
The Classroom is only the Beginning
Wolfson offers two college preparatory programs: Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate. Every student is challenged with college-level coursework from their very first day on campus. Our college resource center hosts visits from colleges and universities across the globe, including public, private, and Ivy League schools. Whether your goal is to go to UF or Yale, Wolfson has the pathway and on-campus support to help you reach your dreams.

As part of the PACK, you are given the chance to compete at the state and national level, from the arts and academic interests to athletics. From our top-ranked cheerleading squad to our champion debate team, the PACK puts every student on a path towards success. Wolfson is routinely ranked in the top #3 in North Florida for National Merit Scholars. We are ranked as one of the top schools in the state & nation by US News and World Report. We are ranked among the top high schools by the State of Florida, and our 60-year history of athletics includes countless state & district championship wins in almost every one of our athletic programs. And on Friday nights, the camaraderie of our student section is second to none.

At Wolfson, you don’t need to choose between arts, athletics, and academics. Wolfson offers more courses in the performing and visual arts than any other non-arts magnet in Duval. We celebrate the need for a balanced education and encourage every student to find an outlet that will encourage them to become the best version of themselves. From our superior-ranked chorus and band to our award-winning visual arts programs, Wolfson is proud to offer courses in the arts for beginning and advanced learners. Wolfson is home to a fully functional Vystar branch that gives students valuable experience in finance and business management.

JROTC
The Wolfpack Battalion is one of the largest student groups on our campus. Our award winning JROTC program offers leadership training, competitive outlets, and support for our military families.
