Hello, BSE families!
NEHS is still hosting a donation drive to support St. Mary’s Episcopal Pantry, but it's coming to an end soon! We are collecting deodorant and baby wipes throughout the month of March, so if you'd like to contribute, your last day to do so is next Tuesday, March 31st! These everyday essentials make a big difference for families in need. Donations can be dropped off in the front office—thank you for your support!

TEACHER WRITES PLAY – This Team Duval Shoutout celebrates a captivating, original performance that Bartram Springs Elementary School teachers put on for their students during Literacy Week! In keeping with an annual tradition, third-grade teacher Cindy Ray wrote a play for teachers to act out. This year’s play, titled “Stepping Inside and Out of a Good Book at BSE,” was about a young girl dealing with a range of emotions as she wrote a book report. Teachers got into character, delivering funny and inspiring performances that encouraged confidence and a love for reading. Great work!

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!
