FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!

Dr. McKinney's LEVEL UP Challenge Update!
Dear Cedar Hills Families,
I've made a few adjustments to Level Up Challenge! Moving forward, challenges will be shared bi-weekly instead of weekly, giving families more time to participate, have fun, and earn points.
I'm also incorporating our Cedar Hills House System! Grade levels will team up to build friendships, teamwork, school pride, and an even stronger Cedar Hills community:
House 1: Kindergarten + Fifth Grade
House 2: First Grade + Third Grade
House 3: Second Grade + Fourth Grade
Each completed challenge earns 20 points for your child’s House, and the winning House will be rewarded quarterly!

Morning Session
8:30 – 9:00 am: Meet with Administration (Café)
9:00 – 10:00 am: Meet the Classroom Teacher
10:00 – 11:00 am: Meet the Classroom teacher
Afternoon Session
12:30 – 1:00 pm: Meet with Administration (Café)
1:00 – 2:00 pm: Meet the Classroom Teacher
2:00 – 3:00 pm: Meet the Classroom teacher
During your Meet the Classroom Teacher time, you will have the opportunity to:
Meet your child’s teacher.
Receive important classroom and school-wide information.
Drop off school supplies and classroom materials.
During the other available time slots, you will have the opportunity to:
Pick up car rider tags and Park & Pick-Up signs.
Receive bus transportation information.
Register for Extended Day.
Pick up school uniforms.
Classroom teacher assignments are available for parents to view through their Parent Focus account.
