Are you ready for another exciting round of LEVEL UP with Dr. McKinney? QUARTER 2 is here, and we have new family challenges waiting for you! Every two weeks, your family will have a chance to learn, create, laugh, and make memories together! Get ready for silly questions, and lots of family fun! Every completed challenge earns 20 POINTS for your child's House! Our first challenge begins October 19 – November 1, with the Family Pumpkin Challenge!

We have a level up champion! Congratulations to house 2!
Let's give a big Cedar Hills cheer to our first and third grade eagles! House 2 has claimed the victory for quarter 1! Your teamwork, family participation, and eagle spirit helped your house level up to the top! A huge thank you to all our Cedar Hills families who participated in the challenges. We appreciate your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to making memories together!
Now, it's reward time! Our winning houses will receive their reward on awards day! First grade: Monday, October 26 at 9:15 am
Third grade: Wednesday, October 28 at 8:45 am

Dr. McKinney's LEVEL UP Challenge Update!
Dear Cedar Hills Families,
I've made a few adjustments to Level Up Challenge! Moving forward, challenges will be shared bi-weekly instead of weekly, giving families more time to participate, have fun, and earn points.
I'm also incorporating our Cedar Hills House System! Grade levels will team up to build friendships, teamwork, school pride, and an even stronger Cedar Hills community:
House 1: Kindergarten + Fifth Grade
House 2: First Grade + Third Grade
House 3: Second Grade + Fourth Grade
Each completed challenge earns 20 points for your child’s House, and the winning House will be rewarded quarterly!

Morning Session
8:30 – 9:00 am: Meet with Administration (Café)
9:00 – 10:00 am: Meet the Classroom Teacher
10:00 – 11:00 am: Meet the Classroom teacher
Afternoon Session
12:30 – 1:00 pm: Meet with Administration (Café)
1:00 – 2:00 pm: Meet the Classroom Teacher
2:00 – 3:00 pm: Meet the Classroom teacher
During your Meet the Classroom Teacher time, you will have the opportunity to:
Meet your child’s teacher.
Receive important classroom and school-wide information.
Drop off school supplies and classroom materials.
During the other available time slots, you will have the opportunity to:
Pick up car rider tags and Park & Pick-Up signs.
Receive bus transportation information.
Register for Extended Day.
Pick up school uniforms.
Classroom teacher assignments are available for parents to view through their Parent Focus account.
We look forward to seeing you and your family as we prepare for a fantastic school year.
