At Central Riverside, our focus is to provide each student with a well-rounded education.  Therefore, we provide opportunities for students to participate in school clubs.  School clubs are key to developing critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, leadership, and collaboration skills, among others.  These organizations provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education.

BETA Club PROGRAM CONTIUNITY Central Riverside is the first and only DCPS elementary school to offer this club. It is for students in 4th or 5th grade who display excellence in citizenship and academics.

CRES Student Council members are leaders within the school. They assist with school programs, community outreach programs and operate the Dolphin’s School Store.

Safety Patrols..Students in 4th and 5th grade develop leadership skills and school pride when selected to serve as patrols.
