The Bookfair will be open tonight during Literacy Night. Please be sure to bring cash with you just incase the card reader is not working. The signal seems to be going in and out. We look forward to seeing you and your family here tonight at 5:30 for all of the fun!
Dinsmore Parents, Here are some reminders of events happening within the next two weeks.

1) The parent/community survey closes on Tuesday, Oct. 21st. We need 100 parents to complete!

2) Picture Day is Thursday, Oct. 23rd.
Parents and Community Members we need your help reaching the survey goal of 20%. As of today (10/15) we are at 2% completion with only 13 parents completing the survey. This is your opportunity to help Dinsmore identify where we shine and where we can improve. Please help us meet our goal! The deadline is October 21st.

September 22-26: "Celebrate Freedom Week"
We want to give a HUGE shout out to our top seller for the fundraiser. Congratulations to Makayla Bullock who sold a total of 95 items! Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser by sending email invites and making a purchase. We earned a total of $5,400. All of the profits will be used to support and celebrate students meeting behavior and academic expectations monthly.

1. The Flu shot clinic will be at Dinsmore this Thursday, Sept 18th. We have received several forms back. If you are interested in your student receiving the flu shot, please be sure to turn in your form by this Wednesday. Please let your teacher know if you are in need of an additional form to be sent home.

What a GREAT DAY at Dinsmore today! Mayor Donna Deegan and our very own Miss Florida, Paris Richardson, joined us to read to our second grade students. The students really enjoyed the two books and were super excited to choose their own book from the Mayor Deegan's River City Readers Book Mobile.
