Great Day Fort Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our September SAC meeting! Your input and support keep our school community strong.
📌 Next SAC Meeting: Monday, October 7th at 3:30 p.m.
At this meeting, we’ll explore different ways to support your child in reading and show you how to access resources that will help them become stronger readers. Remember—you can also reach out to your child’s teacher anytime for additional support.
We look forward to seeing you all there as we continue working together for student success!
Warm regards,
Dr. Roberts-Graham

As we begin a new nine weeks, we are gearing up to continue our Race to Success at Fort Caroline Elementary. Every day counts in this race, and we need all of our students at the starting line ready to learn, grow, and succeed.
When students miss school, they miss valuable instruction, learning opportunities, and time with friends and teachers who care about them. We truly miss them when they are not here.
Your child’s presence helps them stay in the race, build confidence, and reach new goals. Please help us by ensuring your child is at school on time and every day, ready to run toward success.
If you are unsure how many days your child has missed this year, please log in to FOCUS or contact our front office for assistance.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for keeping our students in the race. Together, we will cross the finish line strong because at The Fort, every day counts in the Race to Success.
In partnership,
Dr. Roberts-Graham, PROUD Principal

As a reminder, there is no school for students on Monday, 10/13 and Tuesday 10/14, so I hope they take this opportunity to dive into their new books. Parents & Caregivers, please take some time to encourage your child to explore their new reads—or even revisit some favorites at home. Reading is fundamental to a successful life, and we are committed to preparing our students for GREATER!
Lastly, I encourage all families to explore Varsity Tutoring available through the DCPS website under Blended Learning in OneView. It’s a great resource to support your child’s academic journey.
Thank you for your continued support!
