THE 2ND ANNUAL CTE CAREER ACADEMY SHOWCASE – You're invited to this free community event where Duval’s educators and students shine! Highlighting all 67 of the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academies and programs, this event offers students and teachers a platform to share their innovative work with families and the broader community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with academy staff and students, explore the unique programs offered across the district, and receive expert guidance from CTE staff on navigating the application process. No advanced registration is required. This event takes place Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Adam W. Herbert University Center at the University of North Florida. First Day of School: Monday, August 11, 2025

To help your child start the year off positively, please make sure the following are in place:

  • Uniforms: All students are expected to be in proper school uniform on the first day.

  • Transportation: If your child will need bus transportation, please log into your Focus account and register as soon as possible.

  • Parent Focus Account: If you have not already, please set up your Parent Focus account to stay informed about your child's academic progress, attendance, and school updates.

Meet the Teacher Night

Join us on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for our annual Meet the Teacher Night. This is a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet our dedicated staff, and get excited for the year ahead!

We would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to everyone for their continued support. A special shout-out goes to our wonderful PTA for hosting the Santa Shop last week! The students had a fantastic time shopping and getting into the holiday spirit. Your dedication and hard work truly made it a memorable event for all. ________________________________________ Food Drive Success! A huge thank you to all our families for contributing to our food drive. Your generosity has been overwhelming, and we are excited to announce that the food drive has been a great success! We will continue collecting donations until Wednesday, December 18th, 2024.
