Focus

It is imperative for parents to have a linked parent focus account. With a linked parent account, you can register for bus transportation, view your child’s grades and attendance, receive automated communications from the school and district, and more. Please follow the directions here and give us a call or even stop by if you need assistance.

Volunteering

We welcome volunteers at HAE. Background screening is required for all volunteers. If you have never volunteered with DCPS, please complete the volunteer application form here. Volunteer Application Form.

Level 1 volunteers are always under the direct supervision of district staff and are never alone with students. There is no fee for the level 1 screening.

Level 2 volunteers may be out of direct view of staff or responsible for supervising students.  If you are a current volunteer who was previously approved under a level 1 clearance and plan to serve in a level 2 volunteer role (such as chaperoning students) you will need to log into your current account and edit your profile to indicate that you are a level 2 volunteer. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to begin the level 2 screening process. There is a fee for the level 2 screening.

Please feel free to call us with any questions! Thanks so much and Go Eagles!!
