This year's Black History Month theme "A Century of Black History Commemorations", marks 100 years of National Black History observances. In honor of Black History Month, Join Us on Thursday February 26th for "A Celebration of Black History" right here at John E. Ford. This year's Black History Month theme is "A Century of Black History Commemorations", marking 100 years of National Black History observances. In honor of Black History Month, we will be celebrating the achievements and contributions made by African Americans with our Costume Parade on Thursday, February 26th at 9am. Students are encouraged to dress as black figures, past or present. This is an IN-SCHOOL event and due to safety guidelines, PARENT PARTICIPATION IS PROHIBITED.

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. The Enrollment Process
1. Complete the New Student Application Form online.
2. Link your account to your child's account.
a. Visit OneView and log into your parent OneView account.
b. Select "My Links" from the left margin.
c. Select "Add a student to my account". Provide the requested information for the student.
d. If you have multiple children, you can add each one's information by clicking "Add" and then click "Submit".
3. Applications are available in your Parent OneView/FOCUS account under your student's name.

John E. Ford will become a dedicated magnet school next year and all new students must apply before the deadline.
