Father Daughter Dance

As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year. Our school is truly strengthened by the trust, collaboration, and commitment you show each day in support of our students.
As we reflect on all we have accomplished together, we are grateful for our students’ growth, our dedicated staff, and the strong sense of community that makes our school a place where children can learn, thrive, and feel valued.
Whether you are celebrating a holiday tradition or simply enjoying time with loved ones, I hope this season brings you and your family joy, peace, and rest. We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready for a successful new year on January 7th, 2026.
On behalf of our entire school team, thank you for being an essential part of our school family. Wishing you a safe, joyful, and restful holiday season.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Tina

I wanted to let you know that at the December 4th DCPS School Board meeting Ford was granted dedicated status for the 26-27 school year. Dedicated status means that all future students entering at grades Pre-K, Kindergarten or 1st grade must apply and go through the lottery for admission. If you have a student at Ford currently with a younger sibling that will be entering next year, you must attend a tour and apply for that student. I have attached a flyer with all the details about setting up a student account and applying online. We are currently in the window to apply and the window closes on January 31st, 2026. We will have a limited number of seats at each grade level, so apply early and make sure your child gets into the lottery. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call us at (904)630-6540. We are here to help. If your child is already enrolled at Ford, you do not need to reapply. They will remain with us through 8th grade. We appreciate each of you and ask that you share the flyer with your friends and family. Also, we request that you post it on your social media accounts for others to know about our AMAZING school. Thank you for your support and have a great evening.
