Science Fair Projects

All students at Jacksonville STEM Academy are required to complete an on-grade-level middle school science fair project.

Students in accelerated science courses and students interested in the district competition must submit projects by November 4, 2026. All other projects are due December 4, 2026.

Students will need:
• A composition notebook for their experiment journal and results
• A 36" x 48" science fair display board

As the district STEM school, we are aiming to win across every grade level and compete for the top awards! Students should begin identifying possible topics and discussing their ideas with their science teachers.
The science fair is a program requirement and a significant portion of the second-quarter science grade.
