Greetings MAJ Families!
We had a great turnout for Family Math Night this past Thursday evening! Parents had the opportunity to participate in fun activities and discover ways to support mathematical thinking and development at home.
Our November School Advisory Council Meeting will be held tomorrow, November 3rd at 4:45 PM. SAC meetings are open to all, and we encourage you to come learn more about our school and provide input as we work to continue improving.
Our Veteran’s Day Flag Raising program will take place this Friday, November 7th. Families are invited to join us, and we would like to extend a special invitation to our veterans and active-duty military members. Flyers with more information and an opportunity to RSVP were sent home last week.
We will be kicking off a food drive in cooperation with our faith-based partner, Grace Baptist Church. Students may bring in canned foods from November 3rd - 21st to help families in need.
Looking ahead, we will not have school next week Monday or Tuesday. Monday is a weather day, and Tuesday is Veterans Day.
The Patrol Sponsored Harvest Hoe Down Dance will be taking place on Friday, November 14th. Flyers with information about ticket purchase will be going home this week and tickets will be available for purchase through the end of the school day on Thursday, November 13th.
