Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. Good Evening Bumblebees!
I would like to first say thank you for your patience this week. I truly appreciate it. I also want to apologize about the car rider dismissal as it has truly been frustrating. Here are some ways you can help:
1. Please place the Pikmykid student name and number on your dashboard ( I will have extra copies made and distributed tomorrow)
2. Please remain in your cars. If you must leave quickly send an email to
brownk1@duvalschools.org to change your child from a car rider to a walker and get them from the walker gate. Faster zone.
3. The Pikmykid numbers are important as they will be used if our school ever had an emergency. It will be the only way you can retrieve your child (we are sending home copies tomorrow in your child's homework folder).
Feel free to also download the app to your phone (Pikmykid Parent)
Thanks again for your patience as we work extremely hard to minimize frustrations.
Have a wonderful week.
