TODAY is Early Dismissal. All students will be dismissed at 1:00pm unless they are in the after school program, Boys and Girls Club. Please be on time picking your students up from school. There will be no adult supervision after 1:00pm.

North Shore presents Movie Day. Please see the flyer for details. Students received flyers and permission slips last week.

GM parents, The book fair is being extended until tomorrow (Wednesday). Students can purchase books until tomorrow at 12:00 noon.

GM North Shore Chargers, This is a reminder that there is NO adult supervision before 8:00am. When I pulled up this morning, there were at least 50 unattended students. This is extremely dangerous. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Do NOT drop students off or allow them to walk before 8:00am.

Greetings Chargers, Those students that were scheduled to go on the field trip tomorrow will be rescheduled to 11/21 due to the opposing team having a team illness. No further action is needed on your part.

Greetings North Shore Elementary families, We had a great day of learning today, but I want to make you aware that we had an incident of a student bringing a prohibited item to school. Specifically, a student was found to be in possession of a toy gun and displayed it to other students. We were able to confiscate this item without incident, and at no time was the item used or displayed in a threatening manner. We are in direct contact with the family of the student involved, and the appropriate disciplinary consequences will be applied. While I am disappointed to report this, it does provide a good opportunity to remind everyone that items like these always pose a safety threat and are prohibited on any school campus. Please talk with your child about what is appropriate and not appropriate to bring to school. Please also check their backpacks daily. We appreciate your support in keeping North Shore Elementary a safe environment for students and staff. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

Family Book Fair Night

Reminder: Today is early dismissal. ALL students are being dismissed at 1:00pm unless they are in the after school program, boys and girls club. Also parents, if students do not have a permission slip on file, they will not be able to participate in the trunk or treat tomorrow. Permission went home last week. Please check your student's backpack.

Students received the attached fliers.... The first is for Red Ribbon Week next week and the other is for Trunk or Treat Thursday! Students have started to bring treats based on their grade level. Please continue so that we do not have to cancel. Have a great weekend

Next Thursday is our Annual Trunk or Treat! We are asking that each grade level donate the items on the attached flier in order to make this event a success for students. Dress your student up as their favorite book character as they are parade the field receiving treats!!! Please send all donations no later than Monday!!!

Tomorrow is Bullying Prevention Day. Student are allowed to wear an ORANGE shirt with their uniform bottoms as we stand united against bullying.

Reminder: There is NO school for students tomorrow. Tomorrow is a planning day for teachers. Students will return Tuesday morning at 8:00am.
