Greeting North Shore Chargers... this is a reminder that SATURDAY, July 25th, is Orientation! We will begin promptly at 9:00am in the cafeteria. Come out and see who your student's teacher will be and what will be needed for a smooth opening of school. Remember, parents will not be allowed in the building on Day 1; therefore, it is imperative to get this information before hand. See you Saturday!!!!

If your student qualifies for transportation, Wednesday, July 22nd, is the last day to register for transportation in FOCUS to ensure that your student has a bus for day one.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!

This is to make you aware that the AC is out in the building. I have called it in to the district a few times; however, it's getting warmer and warmer.
As we prepare to close school, this is a reminder that Thursday is the last day of school. Dismissal will begin at 11:45am.

Harvey's grocery is NOT leaving. It is becoming Winn Dixie! The store manager is in need of 40+ employees. If you or someone you know (adult or teenager) are looking for employment and willing to work and follow the store rules, visit ASAP!
North Shore Elementary was NOT in danger today. There was activity in the neighborhood and we went on code "yellow" for precautionary measures. Again, there was NO activity in/at North Shore Elementary today.
Parents,
Students are "STATE" testing this week. I am begging you to please NOT take students out of school early. They have until 2:50pm to complete their assessment. If you pick them up early, their test has to be invalidated!!!!
The bus is up and running!! Students are on their way home.
