What is SAC?
SAC stands for School Advisory Council. It is a team made up of parents, school staff, community members, and other stakeholders who work together to support school improvement and student success. SAC gives our families and community a voice in the decisions and goals that help move our school forward.
As we continue Breaking the Code to Success, parent and community involvement is one of the keys to unlocking our “A!”
We would love to have you join us, share your voice, and be part of the work as we continue moving from Point B to Point “A!”
We’ll see you at Open House tomorrow and SAC on September 17!

A flyer was recently shared regarding our Annual Title I Meeting and Open House. Please note that while the date, September 10th, is correct, the day of the week listed on the flyer was incorrect.
The correct date is Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Annual Title I Meeting: 5:30–6:00 p.m.
Open House: 6:00–7:00 p.m.
We apologize for the error and any confusion it may have caused. We look forward to welcoming our families this Thursday as we come together to learn, connect, and continue Breaking the Code to Success!
Parent partnership is a KEY to unlocking our “A!”
We’ll see you Thursday, Ramona Families!

Ramona Families,
As we continue Breaking the Code to Success, remember that success isn’t only about working hard—it’s also about knowing when to rest, recharge, and reset!
There will be NO SCHOOL Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
Use this day to enjoy time with family, relax, and recharge. Rest gives our minds and bodies the energy we need to return focused, ready to learn, and prepared to give our best.
One of the keys to success is knowing when to REST so you can return READY!
Enjoy your Labor Day, Eagles! We’ll see everyone back at school Tuesday, September 8, rested, recharged, and ready to get back on our “A” Game!
Rest. Recharge. Reset. Then get back to Breaking the Code!

We’re Breaking the Code to Success, and our families are an important key!
Annual Title I Meeting | 5:30–6:00 PM
Please arrive at 5:30 PM to learn what it means to be a Title I school, how Title I funds support our students, our school goals and academic priorities, and how you can partner with us to help your child succeed.
Open House | 6:00–7:00 PM
Following the Title I Meeting, you’ll have an opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, meet the teacher, learn classroom procedures and expectations, review student work, discuss grade-level learning expectations, and learn ways to support your child at home.
Remember, Open House begins at 6:00, but we want you with us at 5:30 for our Annual Title I Meeting!
At Ramona, we know that family partnership is a KEY to success! Together, we’re Breaking the Code to Success and staying on our “A” Game!

We have a new code to crack, and this time, our code word is… COPY!
Beginning September 1st through October 1st, Ramona Boulevard Elementary is hosting a Copy Paper Drive, and we need your help!
Copy paper may seem like a small thing, but it plays a BIG role in teaching and learning every single day. From assignments and assessments to intervention materials and engaging classroom activities, your paper helps power the possibilities for our Eagles!
And we’re making it a competition! Kindergarten through fifth grade will compete to see which grade level can donate the most reams of copy paper.
All donations should be dropped off at the front office with the grade level clearly tagged on the paper. This will make sure every donation counts toward the correct grade level in our competition!
Families, our mission this year is Breaking the Code to Success: We’re on Our “A” Game! If we’re going to break the code and become an “A” school, it will take all of us—students, staff, families, and our community.
So, remember the code word: COPY! C-O-P-Y! Grab a ream—or a few—and help us keep our printers rolling, our classrooms thriving, and our Eagles learning!
The competition runs September 1st through October 1st. Drop your copy paper off at the front office, make sure the grade level is tagged, and let’s see which grade level can crack the code!
Let’s break the code, Ramona! Together, we’re on our “A” Game!

As we continue Breaking the Code to Success and working toward our goal of becoming an “A” school, we want to provide families with helpful insights and resources that you can use at home to support your child’s learning.
🔑 Today’s Code: K–2 UFLI Support at Home
Our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students use UFLI during classroom instruction to build foundational reading skills. These skills help students become stronger, more confident readers—and you can help reinforce this learning at home!
Use the link below to watch a short video that provides strategies for supporting UFLI skills at home with your child.
🎥 Watch: UFLI Support at Home

After watching, we encourage you to try some of the strategies with your child. Even a few minutes of intentional reading practice at home can reinforce the skills students are learning each day at school.
Parent and family engagement is a KEY code to our students’ success! 🔑
When school and home collaborate together, we give our students an even greater opportunity to succeed.
Learn the Code. Practice the Code. Unlock Success. 🔐
Together, we’re moving from Point B to Point “A!”

This is a reminder that Jax Soars is hosting Family Fun Literacy Night! It's happening tonight, from 5:30-6:30. Come support the school and our amazing partner, Jax Soars! As we break the code to success, parent engagement is one way to become an "A" school. We'll see you soon!

This is a bus update. We have coverage for Bus #4 and Bus #57. Students will be boarding shortly and making their way home. Victory Point is heading home first. Thank you for your patience throughout this process.
This is Mr. Greene, your Assistant Principal, with an important transportation update regarding Bus #4.
At this time, there is no driver available for Bus #4, and Transportation is actively working to secure coverage. Unfortunately, we do not currently have an estimated time for when a bus will become available to transport students home.
If you are able to pick up your child from school, we are asking that you please do so. Students will remain safely supervised at school while we await further information regarding transportation.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding. We will continue to keep families informed as additional information becomes available.
