Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!
PRINCIPAL AND STAFF STRENGTHEN SUMMER INSTRUCTION - We would like to extend a heartfelt and well-deserved shoutout to Principal Simpson of Central Riverside Elementary School for his outstanding leadership and unwavering support during the opening week of our ESOL Summer Maintenance six-week program. This six-week ESOL Summer Maintenance Program is vital to the ongoing English language development of our students, helping them maintain, strengthen, and build their language skills. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the outstanding teachers and ESOL paraprofessionals at Central Riverside ES. Thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of our students!

This is a friendly reminder about the end of the school year schedule.
The last day of afternoon Extended Day will be tomorrow, May 27th. Please make sure your child knows how they will be getting home on the last day of school.
Dismissal on Thursday, May 28th will begin at 11:40 AM.
For students enrolled in morning Extended Day, morning care will still be available on Thursday, May 28th from 7:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Our Kindergarten Graduation is Wednesday at 9:30am and Fifth Grade Promotion is Thursday at 9:30am. Each Kindergarten and 5th Grade Student will receive two guest tickets for their ceremonies so we can abide by the capacity of the cafetorium. We look forward to seeing you there.

We will be having class picture days tomorrow, April 1st and Thursday, April 2nd. Students will be taking class photos for the yearbook. Tomorrow, only students in grades KG, 1, 2, 4 and 5 will have their class photos taken. 3rd grade students and any students in a school club will have their photos taken on Thursday, April 2nd. Please have students bring their club shirts to school on Thursday for their pictures.
