At Frank H. Peterson, we recognize that our relationships with our classmates are integral to our bright futures! As a career tech ed high school, the relationships we build with our classmates now are building our network of future business partners, customers, and colleagues! Bullying and harassment have no place in a workplace or a school. We rise above!

An important change to our daily schedule will begin on Wednesday, October 15, the first day of the second quarter.
Starting October 15, student dismissal will move to 2:55 PM — 15 minutes earlier than our current time. This adjustment is being made to provide our teachers with consistent daily planning time, which is essential for maintaining strong, high-quality instruction for every student.
To accommodate this change, each class period will be slightly shortened. Even with this shift, we are fully committed to upholding high expectations for teaching and learning. Every instructional minute will continue to be used purposefully and effectively.
We understand that schedule changes can impact family routines. To support this transition, we will provide additional adult supervision for 30 minutes after dismissal, ensuring students have a safe and supervised environment if families need a bit more time to adjust. Current transportation will largely remain the same.
We appreciate your partnership as we make this change in support of our educators and students.
Thank you.

Frank H. Peterson FFA Officer Team did an amazing job opening the ceremony.
Communications students captured beautiful moments and interviewed our distinguished guests with poise and professionalism.
Culinary Arts students prepared delicious treats and fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Automotive students worked behind the scenes to set-up and break-down.
What a great time to be a Silver Eagle!!
This project is funded by the CAP Workforce Development Grant that DCPS CTE Director wrote for us after hearing the vision of the dream to move our Ag and Vet Academy to a space that will enhance this program immensely!
Thank you to Kasper Architects and Auld and White Construction for working with us on this project.
Enjoy the pics!
