Families, we need your help!

The Hyde Park Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Team is about to have our grand opening of the Wildcat Store for the '25-'26 school year. Students can earn Wildcat chips for positive behaviors, kind gestures, academic/behavior improvements, attendance, etc. and are able to use these chips to purchase items from Wildcat Store.

We need chips, juices, candy, pencils, little trinkets, markers, coloring books, and whatever else you would like to donate.
***Please remember, we are a nut-free school so any item with nuts are prohibited.

All donations will need to go to the front office.

If you would like to order from Amazon, Wal-mart, Target, or any other store, the address is 5300 Park Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.

Community First – School of the Month

The three schools will be selected each month to receive a $1,000 prize! Last year, Community First selected 18 schools as schools of the month.

October’s theme is: Building a culture of school attendance.

How does your school work toward every student being in school every day?

We hope that each of you will take part in sharing this month’s nomination link to your stakeholders so they can nominate your amazing schools for consideration of this generous donation. Use October’s survey to nominate your school.

Attendance Works!

Chronic absence — missing 10 percent or more of school days due to absence for any reason—excused, unexcused absences and suspensions—can translate into students having difficulty learning to read by the third-grade, achieving in middle school, and graduating from high school.

See flyer for additional information.

Greetings Families, Due to unforeseen contracting issues, bus services for certain schools, including ours, may experience delays on the morning of Tuesday, August 19, 2025. To help ensure students arrive at school on time, parents are strongly encouraged to make alternative transportation arrangements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are working diligently to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in supporting the safe and timely arrival of all students. This applies to the route for Bus #4 at Hyde Park Elementary.

Hello Wildcat Families,

Hyde Park school hours for students are 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Students should not be dropped off before 8:00a.m. There is no supervision from staff members at that time. Parents can wait with students in their vehicles until school doors open for students to enter.
