This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of November 18th.
This Monday, November 18th, is make-up picture day. Information was sent home, but if you have any questions, please call the main office and ask to speak to Ms. Kane.
The last PTA General Meeting for 2024 will be taking place this Monday, November 18th @ 6pm following the SAC meeting. There will be a raffle and refreshments served. Additionally, this is the last week to purchase a SaveAround Jacksonville discount book. Proceeds will go to support our Safety Patrols and our library.
This Wednesday, November 20th, is an early dismissal day. Dismissal will begin at 1:00.
There is no school Wednesday, November 27th through the 29th, as we break for the Thanksgiving holiday.

There is no school on Monday, November 11th as we celebrate Veterans’ Day.
There are 2 weeks left to take advantage of the PTA's SaveAround Jacksonville discount book fundraiser. Flyers have been sent home with more details. Please help them reach their goal!
This Friday’s theme is Career Day. Students can dress up for the career they want.
This Friday at 6:00 pm is our Safety Patrol-Sponsored Movie Night. Flyers with information on how to purchase tickets have been sent home.

This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of November 4th.
Thank you to every family that participated in the many events we had last week. Whether it was Red Ribbon Week, Trunk or Treat, Book Fair, or Mad Scientist Day, we had so much participation and we have you all to thank for that.
Please join us for All Pro Dads this Monday morning from 7:15 to 8:15. This is a memory-making gathering for our Crown Point students to show off their dads (or father figures) and strengthen their relationships. Light refreshments will be served.
This Friday, we will be celebrating the importance of being kind to one another. “It’s Clear as Black and White: Be Kind to Everyone.” Everyone is encouraged to wear black and white on Friday.

This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of October 28th.
Red Ribbon Week continues this week. Monday is Superhero Day as we all have the power to be drug free. Tuesday is Decades Day as we leave drugs in the past. On Wednesday, represent your Favorite Sports Team as we team up against drugs.
This Wednesday, October 30th, is an Early Dismissal Day. Our PTA is hosting their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat in the Crown Point BUS LOOP from 5:00-6:30 pm. The Book Fair will also be open that night from 5:00-6:30. We apologize for any conflicting information that was posted regarding the times of these events. Please know that both Trunk or Treat and the Book Fair Family Night will run from 5:00-6:30.
This Wednesday, October 31st, is our annual Mad Scientist Day. Each K-5 grade level will enjoy a fun science show put on by our very own Ms. Adams and Ms. Bickle. These shows will occur during each grade level’s resource time and parents are invited to attend the show. Please make sure you bring your ID as you will need it to enter the building. Students are also encouraged to dress up as mad scientists as the whole day will be dedicated to science.
Please know that there IS school this Friday, November 1st.

Please join us this Monday for our monthly School Advisory Council meeting at 5:30 immediately followed by our PTA board meeting.
Red Ribbon Week begins this Thursday and carries on through next week. On Thursday, wear red to kick off Red Ribbon Week. On Friday, Wake up Drug Free and wear pajamas to school. All students must wear shoes and are not allowed to wear slippers.
Next Wednesday, October 30th, is an Early Dismissal Day. Our PTA is hosting our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat in the Crown Point parking lot beginning at 5:00 pm on this day. The Book Fair will also be open that night from 5:00-6:30.

This Wednesday is National Stop Bullying Day. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange.
As we continue to celebrate Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, we’re encourage everyone to dress up in clothing that represents Hispanic and/or Latin American countries.
There is no school for students Monday, October 14th due to it being a teacher planning day.

We will be participating in Jax Goes to College tomorrow, October 2nd. Students can come dressed as their future career or college they want to attend. We can't wait to see everyone dress up!

This Wednesday, October 2nd, we will be celebrating Jax Goes to College Day. We encourage our students to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up.
Fall picture day is this Friday, October 4th. We look forward to seeing our students dressed in their best.
This next message is from our wonderful PTA. Trunk-R-Treat is coming back this year! On October 30th from 6 to 7:30pm, we will have our 2nd pre-Halloween event. Like last year, children can come dressed in their favorite costumes to the event and enjoy some fun treats. Flyers will be going out with more information. If you'd like to volunteer, please fill out and return the form. We also have the Candy Monster in the main office to collect your individually-wrapped, store-bought candy donations.
