This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of September 23rd.
Thank you to all the families who attended our PK-2nd grade Open House last Thursday. We appreciate everyone who joined us.
This Monday evening, we have three different meetings. Please join us at 5:00 for our annual Title 1 Annual Overview meeting. At 5:30, please join us for our monthly School Advisory Council meeting. At 6:00, we will have our monthly PTA Board meeting.
This Wednesday is our first early dismissal day of the school year. Dismissal begins at 1:00.
These next few messages are from a wonderful PTA. Thanks to everyone that attended our General Meeting this Thursday. The raffle winners will be announced this week. Parents, our Membership Drive is still going on. Please help your child's class win a pizza party by signing up for membership. It's only $5 and volunteering is not required. Our first All Pro Dads meeting will be taking place on Monday, October 7th from 7:15 to 8:15am. This is an opportunity for our kids to showcase their dads and for the dads to network with each other. Light refreshments will be served. Don't forget to help us support our Safety Patrols and School Library by purchasing a SaveAround Jacksonville discount book. They are only $25. Finally, we would like to send a special thanks to our parent volunteers! With your help, we had a successful Teachers' Cafe on Thursday and Birthday Book Cart distribution on Friday.
As we continue to celebrate Hispanic/Latin Heritage Month, don’t forget to wear your favorite soccer, baseball, or football jersey/T-shirt this Friday.

Thank you to all the families who attended our 3rd-5th grade Open House last Thursday. We appreciate everyone who joined us, even though it was a little wet from all the rain.
Open House for PK–2nd grade will be this Thursday, September 19th. There will be a General PTA meeting at 5:30 followed by Open House at 6:00.
This next message is from a wonderful PTA. The Save Around Discount Book fundraiser has started. Families should be receiving flyers this week. A portion of the proceeds will support the Safety Patrols and our Crown Point library.
Hispanic & Latin Heritage Month begins this week. On Friday, we encourage everyone to wear a T-shirt or colors that represent a Hispanic or Latin American country.
Picture day is coming up on October 4th. Parents can begin pre-ordering photos.

This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of August 25th.
On Monday evening, August 26th, there will be a General PTA Meeting in the media center at 6:00. If you are interested in helping our PTA this year, we greatly encourage you to attend. You are not committing yourself to anything by attending this meeting.
Prior to the General PTA Meeting on August 26th, we will have our first School Advisory Council meeting at 5:30. Being part of Crown Point’s School Advisory Council is a great way to share your ideas and hear from administration about what is going on at school. These meetings occur monthly, and we welcome anyone interested in attending.
This Wednesday evening at 6:30, Boy Scouts of America will be at Crown Point in the cafeteria for an informational meeting about their program this year. Please know this is a correction from what I provided last week. The meeting will start at 6:30 instead of 6:00.
You will also be able to sign your child up that night if you would like. All are invited to attend.
There is no school Monday, September 2nd due to it being Labor Day.

Hi parents and guardians! Please remember to make sure your child is properly registered for bus transportation in Focus. Students will soon receive an ID card to ride the bus and we want to make sure everyone has theirs!
If you have any questions, please stop by or call the Main Office at 904-260-5808.


Good afternoon! We have several lunch boxes and water bottles that have been turned into the Lost and Found located in the Main Office. If one belongs to your child, please have them pick it up. As a reminder, label your child's items so that we can return the items back to them if they are found on campus. Have a great day!

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful first week of school. We greatly appreciate your patience and flexibility during dismissal this past week.
Beginning this week, students will be walking to their morning holding areas themselves. Adults are stationed throughout the building to help students get where they need to go. Please remember that school starts promptly at 8:30, so students should be dropped off by 8:25. Please also know that students are not to be dropped off before 8:00 unless they are registered in our morning extended day program.
