REGISTER FOR A BUS TODAY - Bus registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. All students who plan to ride a school bus next year must be registered in advance, including students enrolled in self-contained ESE programs. Each week, we will share five SAT/ACT Vocabulary Words with our students, families, and community.
Why? Because strong vocabulary is a powerful tool for success. The words students encounter on the SAT, ACT, in college courses, and in their future careers are often academic words that require more than memorizing a definition. Students need to recognize these words, understand them in context, and use them to think critically and communicate clearly.
A few minutes of intentional vocabulary study each week can help students build the language they need to read complex texts, understand challenging questions, analyze information, and express their ideas with confidence.
Our goal is not simply a higher test score. Our goal is to give every student the words they need to unlock opportunities.

World of Nations is an annual event in Jacksonville that our students can serve as volunteers! This year's event is February 28th and March 1st.
Students may volunteer for both days or either Saturday or Sunday.
Volunteers would help with many tasks, but mostly with helping different nations serve their goods to the guests.
If you are interested, please email Mrs. Otis at atlinsimeonotis@gmail.com. She will provide you and your parents all of the information needed.
