Good Afternoon Ortega Families and Partners, We have been recognized by the FLPBIS: MTSS Project as a 2023-2024 PBIS Model School! Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a 3-tiered evidence-based prevention framework that leads to reduced exclusionary discipline and improved student and teacher outcomes when fully implemented. By establishing PBIS, we are developing skills, enhancing our school environment, acknowledging appropriate behavior, and using data to identify supports for all of our students and teachers. As a PBIS Model School, we are committed to the effective implementation of PBIS and are seeking positive outcomes for all!

Good morning Ortega Families, If you have not already, please be sure to sign and turn in your child's green permission slip as soon as possible. This permission slip covers most students activities for the first half of the school year. Students will not be able to participate in these fun activities without a signed slip. If you have misplaced your permission slip, please let your child's teacher know so that they can send home another one. Thanks so much!
