Westside High School is committed to increasing student achievement through high quality standards based instruction, modeling integrity, and preparation for post secondary learning and experiences, for each student, in every classroom, daily.
School Vision
Each student will complete their high school experience with an ideal career plan, to include a postsecondary focus of study or vocational track in their career of choice, in order to become productive citizens.
A Taste of Wolverine Nation
Westside High School is conveniently located in the West quarter of Jacksonville's Cecil Field community. It services the Normandy Boulevard, Firestone Road, 103rd areas and certain areas of Middleburg and Orange Park communities. We are happy to enroll your student because Westside offers several options for student experiences. Westside has a long history of community support and provides many Fine Arts, CTE and JROTC programs. Students also can benefit from other fantastic opportunities such as sports programs and early college programs.
Westside High School is also proud of its rich diverse student population which annually hosts its Multicultural Nights. Our school houses an extensively large English Language Learner population which is well supported with ESOL services. The school also supports students with varying exceptionalities with a dedicated staff that is fully committed to graduation preparedness.
Locally we service several "feeder" middle schools in our area such as Westside Middle, Chaffee Trail, Westview K-8 KIPP, and Lake Shore.
