Hello Mamie Agnes Jones Families,
You should have received the following information from the district regarding Title IX:
"Your child has a right to be safe at school and learn in an environment free from sexual discrimination and harassment. These rights are rooted in Title IX, a federal civil rights law that makes sex-based discrimination and harassment illegal in schools.
To assist with equipping students with this information, we have created three age-appropriate videos for each grade-level that discuss Title IX and the resources that students have to report concerns.
Over the next few weeks, schools will be reaching out to families regarding when their video presentations are taking place. We wanted to ensure you had the opportunity to view these videos in advance. There are three videos, and each one is geared toward a specific grade band: elementary, middle, high. They can be found at www.duvalschools.org/titleix.
We encourage you to watch these videos with your children. If you would like your child to view the video in school, no further action is required. If you would like to opt your child out of watching the video in school, you can submit a Parent Opt-Out form. You will find this form in Focus under Forms. It is titled 'Title IX Grade Level Video Viewing.' "
We will be showing the elementary videos to our students on Tuesday, September 3rd. If you do not want your child to view the video at school, please be sure to complete the opt out form as indicated above.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,

From the menu, you can also access PikMyKid to make updates to your child's dismissal. If you are having difficulty connecting in PikMyKid, please log in to your parent OneView account to verify the phone number and email address.

Hello MAJ Families!
As we head into the new school year, I wanted to share an important update regarding school communications. All communication will take place through the DCPS app, or email. If you had the previous version of the DCPS application downloaded, you can delete it as it is now obsolete. The new application is available and you may download it, but please know it is not fully functional yet. In the near future, you will have access to "Rooms" which will be the primary source for classroom information.
In order to receive messages, you will need to have a linked parent account and you will need to know your login credentials (the email and password you used to set up your account).
We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow between 1:30 and 2:30 to meet your teachers and drop off school supplies if you would like! Have a wonderful evening!
