Thank you, Spring Park Families, for a wonderful first week of school!

  • Mark Your Calendars! Join us on Thursday, August 28th, at 5:45pm, for Open House. This is the perfect opportunity to visit your child's classroom, discover more about what he/she will be learning this school year, as well gather ideas on how you can support your child's education at home.

  • Our after-school care program, Team Up, will begin on Monday this week for those who are enrolled.

  • Friday was the last day that parents were permitted to walk their children to class. Our students are ready to practice their independence skills as they walk themselves to class, and we have staff as well as Safety Patrols who will be ready to walk our youngest Spring Park students to their classrooms starting on Monday.

  • Thank you to all of the Spring Park families who have supported their students' education by sending school supplies. Headphones are an essential part of our technology-based learning at school. The goal is for each student to have his/her own pair of headphones to use daily at school. Some of our online learning sites require students to record their voices to answer questions, so headphones with a built-in microphone are best. No earbuds please.

If you have any questions, please contact your child's classroom teacher(s), or contact our main office at (904) 346-5640, for assistance. Thank you for supporting your child's education!

Hello Spring Park Families! We are excited to welcome students back to school this Monday, August 11th! Here are a few reminders to help ensure our return to school goes smoothly for all Spring Park families:

  • Our doors will open to students at 8:00am.

Parents are permitted to walk their students to class during the first week of school.

The school day will begin promptly at 8:30am.

  • Please contact your student's teacher to ensure she/he knows how your student will be going home at dismissal time.

  • Please make sure you have a Linked Parent Account set up. This will allow you to receive updates, check your student's grades & more.

Please also remember to check your Linked Parent Account to ensure your phone numbers and home address are correct and up-to-date.

  • Please download the FREE Duval Schools app. If you already have the app, please check your smartphone to ensure you have the most up-to-date version of the app. (This will ensure you are receiving all announcements and messages through the app.)

  • Please make sure to check Rooms daily for announcements and messages from Spring Park and your student's teacher(s).

  • Any and all changes to a student's transportation must be communicated to the teacher, or the school, by the student's parent/guardian. (We are unable to make transportation changes based on statements made by students.) Transportation changes must be made, by a parent/guardian, no later than 2:15pm daily. This policy is to ensure that all transportation changes are put into place prior to the start of dismissal.

  • Students are not permitted to carry any medication on their person or in their backpacks. If your student has been prescribed medication parents are asked to please visit our main office, and our staff will assist you.

  • If your student has food allergies, as documented by a physician, parents as asked to please bring those documents to the office and our staff will assist you.

  • Principal Parker asks for extra patience at dismissal time during the first week of school. Student safety is a top priority, and things are likely to take a little longer at the beginning of the year as students learn the dismissal rituals and routines.

  • Assistant Principal Hoag asks that if you have a Kindergarten student who will be riding the school bus that you please stop by the main office to complete the required 'Kindergarten Transportation Form'.

If you have any questions regarding our back-to-school reminders please visit our office, or call (904) 346-5640, and our office staff will be happy to assist you. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday morning for the first day of school!
