Hello Spring Park Families! This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow/Wednesday, January 29th, is an Early Release Day for students. Dismissal begins promptly at 12:50pm on Early Release Days. Only those students enrolled in after-school programs (Extended Day or Team Up) are permitted to stay at school after 1:00pm on Early Release Days. Thank you to all of our Spring Park families for helping to make sure that your students are picked up on time. We appreciate your support! Mark Your Calendars! This Thursday, January 30th, is our 100th day of school. To celebrate this milestone, Principal Parker is encouraging everyone to dress like they are 100 years old! Below is a list of ideas to help you plan for your 100th day of school outfit:
👴 button down shirts, glasses, suspenders, ties, mustaches/beards, flannel shirts, sweaters, canes, handkerchiefs, etc.
👵 blouses, pearl necklaces, sweaters, glasses, stockings, wigs, curlers, scarves, large purses, canes, etc.
The possibilities are endless! Feel free to use your creativity & imagination when creating your 100th day of school outfits. We can't wait to see how everyone looks on Thursday for the 100th day of school! 👴💯👵


📢 Spring Park Parents & Families: Please see this important announcement from Duval County Public Schools (made on 1/22/25 @11:00am): "Duval County Public Schools will be open and fully operational tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 23. The weather is expected to be very cold for the remainder of the week. Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure students are dressed in winter wear appropriate for the conditions. We look forward to seeing everyone back in school tomorrow!"

Our new event dates are Thursday, January 30th & Friday, January 31st, from 5:45pm-7:00pm. This two-day event will have mini-sessions on important topics like financial security, FAST/STAR testing information, housing opportunities, and parenting skills. Mini-sessions will be available in both English & Spanish. This two-day event is designed to equip parents with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive and support their families. "Given the possibility for unsafe conditions, Duval County Public Schools and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
◾️In addition, all athletics and after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22 will be canceled.
◾️All regularly scheduled athletic and extracurricular activities taking place today, Jan. 21, will continue as planned.
