Hello MAJ Families! We are down to our last two weeks of school. Your children have worked hard, learned and grown so much this year – they have made the MAGIC happen!! As we move into our final days, we have several events and activities to celebrate their achievements. Yearbooks are in and will be given out to those who have already purchased them on Monday. We have approximately 50 yearbooks still available for purchase. You purchase them online through schoolcashonline.com. Ms. Sharp will also have a table set up in the front hallway in the mornings for students to purchase them for $30 (cash only). This Monday we will welcome the graduating Seniors from Baldwin High School to participate in the annual “Grad Walk” through our hallways. Many of them are former MAJ students and it is a very special event! On Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to use the Tomahawk bucks they have earned to make purchases from the PBIS store. Our end of the year schoolwide reading celebration will be held next Thursday, May 22nd. Students must meet their grade level reading goal in order to participate in the activities. Permission slips will be going home with qualifying students and must be signed and returned so your child can participate in the activities including several inflatables. Our grade level end-of-year awards programs will take place in the cafeteria at the following times: Pre-K: May 23rd at 9:00 AM Kindergarten: May 28th at 1:00 PM 1st Grade: May 28th at 11:30 AM 2nd Grade: May 28th at 10:15 AM 3rd Grade: May 28th at 9:00 AM 4th Grade: May 27th at 1:00 PM 5th Grade: May 27th at 9:00 AM (last names beginning A-L) and 11:00 AM (last names beginning M-Z) Finally, the last day of school is Friday, May 30th, with a 12:00 dismissal time.
